Shot from the summit of Mount Victoria, this aerial view looks down into the dense canyon of residential towers that defines Hong Kong's urban landscape. The image was deliberately processed with a radial blur emanating from the center, evoking the vertigo and disorientation of standing at that height — or of imagining life compressed into one of those towering cells far below.
Using the same mosaic technique as the other works in this series, 144 tiles were assembled across a single canvas panel. Here the tile grid works in counterpoint to the blur, imposing a rigid structure over a sensation of free fall.
