Extracted from a single tile of a large panoramic photograph taken over a mile from the city, this image was magnified far beyond the camera's native resolution — a deliberate choice that transforms the skyline into something closer to painting than photography. The familiar grammar of the city dissolves into soft gradients and abstracted geometry, blurring the line between lens and brush.
Using the same mosaic technique as the Saigon piece, 144 tiles were assembled across a single canvas panel, this time fitted more seamlessly to emphasize the smooth planes and quiet weight of the structures rather than fragmentation.
